Models that need a reviewed request first
Some models on Inference.net, such as refusal-removed variants, are open only to teams we have approved. Tell us who you are, accept the Privileged Access Terms, and call the model once your team is approved.
From request to first call
- 01
Find a privileged model
The model pages and the playground mark these models with “This model requires approved access”. Until your team is approved, API calls return 403 model_access_required.
- 02
Request access from the dashboard
Give your legal name and country, and optionally your intended use. Confirm you are 18 or older and authorized to bind your team, then accept the Privileged Access Terms (version 2026-10-23).
- 03
We review it
Inference.net staff approve or reject each request. We email your team the decision.
- 04
Call the model
Once approved, your team can use that model from the API and the playground. Access covers one team and one model, and staff can revoke it.
Privileged models
Each model has its own request page with the full Privileged Access Terms.
What the terms cover
A summary only. The Privileged Access Terms on each model's request page are the binding text.
Allowed
Red-team, defensive security, and trust-and-safety work against systems you are authorized to test. Fictional sexual content about consenting, non-real adults.
Never allowed
Child sexual abuse material, weapons of mass destruction uplift, sexual content about real persons, and deepfakes are always forbidden.
Your end users
You are responsible for how your end users use the model through your product.
We keep no request or response content for privileged models, and teams on Zero Data Retention can use them. Questions or misuse reports: trust@inference.net.
